The best Thai restaurant in the 626! Orchid Thai had unlocked a newfound love for Thai cuisine back when its original location was in Arcadia many years ago. I was incredibly sad when they closed and thought my favorite Thai spot was gone forever when in fact they had just moved to Baldwin Park. The restaurant is every bit as I remember including the same friendly, casual ambiance! You can't go wrong with anything you order here--seriously! Both the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are amazing as well as the curries, namely the yellow curry which comes fresh with your choice of protein, carrots and potatoes. This thai place is near our place like 3 mins away. It became our to go place. We ordered a lot, tried multiples dishes on their menu. Food is 4/5. I feel like it's common. I haven't really tasted anything that stood out compared to the other thai places we tried. I don't recommend their Thai chicken bbq. The the duck dish? I forgot. Pork jerky was a little hard. Dishes that are ok: Pad see ew, pad thai, tom yang, papaya salad, thai fried rice. They serve fast. Staff are nice. Plenty of parking. Small place.
Wow! I inhaled my food! Sooo soo good. The flavor of the yellow curry with just enough kick of mild spice woooo wee. That hit the spot! I ordered number 8, 71, 53 n yellow curry. Omg this place has been my favorite since I moved to the area over two years ago. I will always stand by this being the best Thai food every bruhhhhh the pineapple shrimp curry , the green curry, the veggie and shrimp fried rice , the house fish, the drunken noodles ughhh it’s soooo bomb. Been a while since i've been here, but the only complaint i have is that they forgot to give us chop sticks in our to go order. didn't really matter as i had some at home.
I only had the sticky rice with mango it was delicious it was nice and sticky and warm not too sweet and the mango was perfect also left me wanting more
Love this place. There desert is amazing. Thai ice tea out of this world. The service was very attentive and their portions were nicely sized
