Meh. Okay vib, we were 1 of 2 couples in Origami. Food was okay nothing to write home about and the bill was high for the level of quality and service, and I never ever balk at the cost of a dinner bill but I will write a review when the experience is great and mediocre. Our server a) poured water on my phone and mask while filling our water glass more than once, b) her thumb was clearly touching some sushi (without gloves) when she brought the platter to our table, c) grabbed a bowl before we were finished with the food in it. Our food a) wasabi had zero horseradish head buzz and zero flavor, b) the maki rolls were sliced thin (maybe 3/8 to 1/2 thick) compared to what I've had in other plac...
Delicious and very accommodating to dietary restrictions and allergies—they also have tamari and can switch our sticky rice for steamed rice on the sushi, for folks with celiac and/or gluten intolerance!
I had the tempura meal; it was done perfectly both shrimp and the vegetables. And my wife's fried rice was also nicely done.
