Establecimiento en inmejorable sitio en el que ya habíamos comido hace unos años, decidimos repetir ya que recordábamos haber disfrutado de la última visita. Nos llevamos una pequeña decepción. Uno de los entrantes correcto (revuelto de hongos pero el segundo muy muy flojo, no sabía a nada (almejas en salsa verde, ojo que costaban 26€ . El rapé para dos que pedimos estaba rico, muy en su punto, no obstante, al aceitito con ajo que lo acompañaba le faltaba algo de brío y sabor. Los postres también normalitos, tarta de queso (no tengo claro que fuera casero y torrija (bastante acuoso . Respecto al servicio poco que decir, no destacaba ni para lo positivo ni para lo negativo.
Went here for a meal on a very wet day. Dinner service begins at 8.30. Food was excellent and large portions. I had the txuleta and it was massive (and extremely tasty). There were four of us and we had starters, two bottles of wine, coffee and an extra round of drinks and it came to around €120. There was a leak in the roof but it didn’t spoil our meal! Would definitely recommend if staying by the beach and don’t want to walk into town.
Lunch was really good with excellent choices at reasonable price. Staffs are really nice. When we complained about the fish which was not mackerel as we had ordered, they took back and did not charge for that. This is good but serving a different fish in the name of mackerel, we did not appreciate.
Another restaurant which has taken to charging well for the food, but then you have to queue like a numptey to pay and then go and collect like some fast food restaurant……to the owners take less of a cut and employ a waiter……food good, system of getting the food is a step backwards……..

Entrantes muy bien. Pulpo, tomate sobre anexos y bonito; y mejillones. Txuleta 2 de kilo para 5, bien de cantidad y muy buena. Postre y Viña Izadi. 50 por barba. Muy a gusto.

Muy bien, bar con terraza amplia en la playa de Orio, junto a una explanada de césped en la que en verano se hacen actividades o música.
