I was quite disappointed with the service at this location compared to the Downtown and Slauson branches. I had pre-ordered two catfish and shrimp dinners but found out upon arrival that my order had been overlooked. After waiting 20 minutes, I finally got my meals but neglected to check them before leaving. When I got home, I discovered they had mistakenly given me two catfish dinners instead. When I called to resolve the issue, the representative I spoke with argued that it was my fault. I asked to speak to the manager but was left on hold for 10 minutes. When I called back, I was put on hold once more. The girl who identified herself as Kelly had a very rude demeanor. I won't be returning...
It’s been a while since I last wrote a review, but this restaurant really inspired me to share my experience! Located in my hometown, I finally decided to try this hidden gem. I ordered the oyster and catfish po' boy, as well as the daily special which was the lemon pepper catfish combo, and everything was absolutely delicious! The sauce was mild yet packed with flavor. I will definitely be returning every time I’m back in town. The bread pudding was outstanding—some of the best I’ve ever had, and coming from a family of excellent cooks, that says a lot! Dining here really transported me to New Orleans!
I will give it a zero it would not let me I go here a lot I would never go back again I bought two mumbo gumbo plate I called and told them the full made my stomach upset they told me there's not a manager in right now and we'll take your number this was Saturday i call back Monday talk to the manager the light skinned one who thinks she's fine going to tell me they sold over 75 plates no one called complaining I told her that has nothing to do with me pretty much she doesn't care about nothing but a dollar I didn't ask for a refund the food wasn't good that day and she should have respected that
I have not been here or tried anything on their menu, but the Reviews are concerning to me! It's like their good days and bad days with no customer retention in place to correct a bad experience for repeat customers and customer satisfaction is not a priority . Wow, I'm really surprised this place has a 4.8 rating. My poultry gumbo tasted watered down and lacked flavor. The shrimp Po' Boy wasn't as good as I remembered. Maybe it’s just this location. Coming from a Texan, I have to say this gumbo is disappointing, especially considering the price.
First time ordering food from this deli and, WOW!! We shared the Rachel sandwich which is basically like a Ruben but on a hoagie roll. Everything was super fresh! Definitely coming back next time we’re in town!
This restaurant offers a sandwich called the po' boy, which is the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. It's also very satisfying. I highly recommend trying Orleans York if you haven't already!
