My colleagues and I used to frequent the Bakery for lunch, but unfortunately, we have had several instances of poor service. We will not be returning as the new owner is very rude and unpleasant. However, the young lady who served me was very pleasant and the food was good. If we are spending our money at your establishment, we expect friendly and polite service, just like we provide to our own customers. Please learn some manners and smile.
We travel to the Bakery 2 or 3 times a year because the food is excellent, beautifully presented and great value. The service is 100 percent old school with great front of house commitment to customer satisfaction. Do not leave without trying the pancakes.
The serving staff at this restaurant was very nice and pleasant. However, I was a little disappointed that the toasted tea cake I ordered was not very warm. The coffee was good and there were plenty of delicious options available at the counter.

order a drink in this place and you will have the shock of our life,the smallest cups the most expensive cup of tea you will find in Orpington.and as for the menu,well see for you self but check you bill very carefully.
Used to visit this on a fairly regular basis and whilst OK, the fayre is fairly standard cafe type food and maybe they should consider moving with the times (and the competition).
This was my first and final visit to this establishment was overcharged for beverages which are overpriced for the area I get better service in the Star Cafe across the road.

Had one of their egg and bacon doorstop sandwiches. Great thick cut fresh bread well filled with egg and bacon good coffee. Great quick friendly service.
