This is my second visit to this restaurant, and I returned because I had such a wonderful experience the first time! The menu changes seasonally, which reflects a commitment to using fresh ingredients and maintaining a healthy menu. I was hoping to enjoy a dish from the summer, but unfortunately, it’s not available this season. The dishes we ordered were enjoyable, maybe a bit indulgent. The food was high quality—nothing extraordinary for the price, but overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. The staff was polite, attentive, and very friendly. I will definitely come back!
Cozy Italian spot with good vibe. Ordered an aperol spritz, a very Italian cocktail (aperol Prosecco club soda) and was served something not aperol cava. No mention of the substitutions until I probed. Cava is much cheaper lower quality than Prosecco and is Spanish. Come on guys.. don’t skimp on the drink ingredients and at least stay Italian. I did mention this to the manager and they took the drink off the bill—hopefully they make an adjustment to the bar. On the positive side, pasta was quite good as was sausage though a little small for $27.
The food here is simply beautiful, served in a cozy atmosphere. The service is flawless, with a welcoming vibe and an impressive wine selection. I highly recommend the Caesar salad, Osso Bucco, and desserts (we tried the chocolate cake and panna cotta). Allow the manager to recommend dishes, and you’ll leave feeling enchanted and satisfied. This is authentic Italian cuisine that prioritizes quality ingredients; it's not your typical Americanized Italian fare.
We arrived at 10 PM on a Friday night and were thrilled to be greeted and seated right away. We shared three appetizers, each one delicious, as well as a pasta dish and a main course, both of which were exceptional. We also enjoyed a bottle of Barolo. The cozy and intimate dining room is quite lovely, and the maitre d’ is both charming and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was average or below average, and the prices were excessively high for what was offered. Additionally, the wine list featured mostly overpriced selections. There are definitely better dining options in the West Village.
This is a really fantastic spot, showcasing great flavor and a genuine attention to both customers and the Italian spirit. Everything is made from scratch—bread, grissini, pasta! The food and service are exceptional! And I can confidently say this as an Italian living in New York.
A hidden gem in the West Village! The service is wonderful, the entrees are outstanding, and the atmosphere is peaceful and charming. I highly recommend it. Be sure to ask for Antonio; he is a true gentleman.
