We really didn't want heavy Austrian food for lunch so we stopped into this place and it was an average lunch, not a place to seek out. The thing that surprised us was that there were two small rolls on each table that were there when you got seated. You'd think they came with the meal right? Wrong! We came to find out that if you ate them you got charged 2 Euros which seemed very strange. You could have sat there and pawed the rolls to no end and who knows whether they would have sat there for the next guest at the table...not a very appetizing thought.
Ich habe mit meiner Frau und unserer Tochter bei unserem letzten Besuch in Klagenfurt an diesem wunderschönen Ort zu Abend gegessen. Wir hatten keine Reservierung, saßen aber draußen an einem bequemen Tisch nahe der Haupttür. Wir hatten Antipasti, das köstlich und riesig war, Caprese-Salat, Pilzrisotto und Spaghetti. Der Mozzarella war einer der besten, den wir je gegessen haben und das Risotto war auch sehr gut. Obwohl die Qualität des Essens hervorragend ist, war der Preis recht erschwinglich.
Gute italienische Küche: Pasta, Calamari, Scampi und Salat. Die Antipasti sind sehr gut. Wir teilten uns zu sechst drei Portionen Antipasti und alle waren glücklich. An den Wochenenden ist dieser Ort überfüllt. Eine Reservierung wird empfohlen. Hinweis: In einigen Bereichen des Restaurants ist das Rauchen weiterhin gestattet. Wenn Sie den Rauch nicht mögen, fragen Sie nach einem Tisch in einem Nichtraucherbereich des Restaurants.
nice location on a quiet pedestrian street, but average service and very average food. The grated cheese for my pasta looked and tasted like it was in the bowl for 2-3 days... my pasta were not very tasty. Huge quantity... but no taste. definitely won't be going back.
