I give this restaurant overall a 3 star rating. 1) Service: while the staff was friendly they are very inexperienced. To spend $200 for a dinner for two I expect the service to be up to par. We had arangini as appetizers and ate from the serving plate bc we did not get small individual plates. Crumbs on the table from the appetizers were never removed. To be a high end restaurant I feel the staff should be trained as such to give guests the full experience. 2) Food) Just because your menu is in the Italian language does not mean your food is authentic. We made a reservation and arrived on time. There was a sign that said to seat yourself. We wondered why make a reservation? We were finally seated next to a party of four and had to pull our table away from the people next to us. Took forever to get water and when we got refills the young kid poured the water all over my husband's phone and clicker for the car. We watched him do the same thing to the people next to us. No one ever asked if we wanted a glass of wine or a drink. We ordered the mussels and entrées and waited. The entrees came out first and since we were very hungry, we started eating. I’ve gone twice just this week and both times were unimpressive. The first time was Sunday at 5 and we had the entire place to ourselves, which should have been a sign from the beginning. Our waitress seemed very sweet but completely new or clueless to what was even on the menu. We would ask a question and she would say “yeaaahhh”....Everything took SO long between ordering, our bread, our salads, our meals and the check. There were 4 of us and it took almost 2 hrs and again we were the only one
Great Italian food! We stopped by for a nice robust glass of red and ended up with Decoy CabSav but almost chose the Meiomi Pinot Noir as well. Sonoma County is producing some great wines and we were grateful to Andrew, the owner, for helping us choose the best. Btw, Osteria di Mare just came out with a new lower priced menu. Check it out!

Great wine list and wonderful Italian food at a reasonable price. This is upscale fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere that will exceed your expectations. The food is consistant and flavorful from a chef you can tell knows what they are doing. This restaurant will not disappoint. EVERYTHING is good.
Bella! My fiancé and I went here to celebrate our five year anniversary and it was everything. Amazing chicken Marsala and roasted potatoes my new favorite spot! Can’t wait to return the service is amazing
Nice place and service. The waiter was a little insecure but very nice so it had its kind of charm. Cocktail is not their thing, but they got some great wine.
Dinner and our server made the evening very special. Our salmon and Cobia entrees were excellent. We will be back!

No ambiance, small portions and not very lively. The food and service are good but not sure I’d return.
