We chose O'Sullivan's for the Friday night wings. We arrived at 17:40 and were told at 17:50 by the overwhelmed server that the kitchen shut the wings special down as they could not accommodate another wing order. We were taken aback and decided we would order something else anyway. I chose the chicken taco salad and found it not to my liking - not a good salad - soggy greens dripping in a mexi-ranch dressing with a mash of ingredients, not for me thanks. Was not impressed at all with this place. The decor was pretty sad inside so we chose to sit on the patio. That was a mistake as it is beside a busy road on a hill where every one with loud trucks like to blast up and make as much noise as possible. Then you add in the smokers on the other side of the railing for just a little more ambiance...As for the food the burger looked like it came from the a frozen food section at superstore and the fish and chips were not any better. The only thing that was somewhat decent was the reuben sandwich. Even with the groupon $(15 gets you $30 worth of food) it wasn't worth it. We have been regulars at O'Sullivan's since we started dating. Been married for seven years we'd often pick a table near the fireplace and enjoy prime rib dinner. A game of pool would round out the evening.Recently visited the new location which appears to be one third the size. There is more seating in a McDonald's restaurant. The new ceramic tile causes the sound from the loud TV's to echo. Not conducent to enjoying a meal with yorkshire pudding. Not sure that yorkshire pudding even accompanies the prime rib these days since we didn't stay for dinner. Sorry Kevin.In a cold climate like Calgary, be interesting to see how your patio fares. May I suggest investment in propane heaters?
We stopped by with a groupon deal $(30) on sunday afternoon and the place was dead. The server was friendly, the caesars on special were good and the cheeseburger and fries tasted fresh. The decor inside was better than expected. I think if you stick to the daily specials that you get a real bargain. Will be back to try wing night, probably on monday cause its sounds like on other days it can get crazy busy and the place isnt huge, especially in November without the patio space. I liked this place.

The place is quite small...bar setting on the east end...restaurant setting on the west end. TV's are set up all over. Not sure their outside patio would be all that appealing as it is on 58 Ave which is a busy street on the north side of the largest shopping mall in Calgary.If you stick to their daily specials, you can eat quite cheaply. We had their steak sandwich on one outing and their cheese burger on another outing. They also have wing nights that are very cheap.
Went for a lunch and ordered the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich. Have to say that it was pretty lacklustre - the marble rye bread tasted like it was bought from the day-old shelf, and the smoked meat was fatty and a little chewy to boot. Side of cole slaw was decent, and our waiter was very good. Might be okay to stop in for a beer, but based on this experience, I'd pass on the food.
This place is pretty basic or as they say where I come from, Slap, Bang, Wallop. The food is cooked, the beer is cold and the staff deliver it to you.......that's about it. No quality or finesse. At least there is some light in the place since they moved location.....it used to be as dark as hell. Got to tell it as I have found it.
I tried their chicken burger and my partner tried a beef burger with yam fries . We also tried Calamari , it is not that good , just ok. But the sandwiches were good . Also they have a very good Groupon deal now , worth to try and they are open until 1130 pm even on a Sunday .

Went for lunch, only 7 people there and left after not being served for 5 minutes. Even after the barista looked my way a few times.
