Unfortunately we are very disappointed with the agreement with the boss. In July we talked about the 70th birthday at a dinner on site and also decided on the choice of table. Since we were the first ones for today's appointment, we were able to choose. Two calls confirmed the arrangements! This morning the sad surprise, different tables, worse seating arrangement, contrary to all agreements. And for a big birthday! As a result, the mood among the organizers was in the basement! And there was no way the staff could save the situation and there wasn't a specific contact person on site either.
I booked a place in the restaurant at short notice, which is also recommended as this restaurant is always very busy. The reservation was no problem for 2 people, lunchtime in the middle of the week despite many guests. (It was mid-December and therefore Christmas time with many company dinners). The service was super nice and very service-oriented. The food was plentiful and very well prepared. The taste hit the mark for me! A clear recommendation from me! If you want to eat really well at affordable prices, this is the place for you!
The only thing that tasted “normal” was the mineral water. Everything else was fantastic. We had the generous bread basket with aioli, among other things, followed by the fish platter for two and, for dessert, a chocolate cake and a Belgian waffle. Everything was wonderfully prepared and simply really tasty. We also chose the Primitivo as a red wine, which was also ok. The atmosphere was cozy, the staff was simply friendly. We felt very comfortable and can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.
Wir wurden zu einem Geburtstagsessen eingeladen und hatten einen tollen Platz mit Blick auf die Warnow und Gehlsdorf. Wir bestellten Rouladen aus der Mittagskarte. Vier von uns waren sich einig, dass es sehr lecker war und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmte. Gegen 13 Uhr war das Restaurant gut gefüllt und wir bemerkten viele Stammgäste. Auch der Service hat uns überzeugt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Otto’s Restaurantschiff bietet ein ganz besonderes kulinarisches Erlebnis. Die Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichte und Desserts auf der Speisekarte sind ein echter Gaumenschmaus. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der freundliche und zuvorkommende Service. Eine Reservierung war auf jeden Fall sinnvoll, da am Weihnachtstag ein großer Andrang herrschte und es sehr voll war.
Wir hatten dort eine Firmenfeier, das Essen und die alkoholfreien Getränke waren hervorragend. An diesem Abend war es sehr stürmisch und das Schiff schwankte stark, aber es war gut auszuhalten. Die Toiletten waren sehr sauber – das muss man wirklich erwähnen. Insgesamt war es einfach großartig und die Atmosphäre etwas ganz Besonderes.
The food was very tasty, the dessert was beautifully prepared. Everything was fair in terms of price. The service was really warm and friendly. I also found the location to be fine and clean. I would like to go out to eat again.
