Located near the base of Stone Mountain is a cozy, renovated garage that transports you back to the 80s. Aptly named outrun, this charming spot fully embraces its Outrun aesthetic. However, it offers much more than just style - there is substance too. The brewery associated with the establishment serves some of the best beers I sampled during my brewery hopping weekend. Though it was a spontaneous addition to my itinerary, I couldn't resist trying the Sarasota fruit salad, a refreshing pour that instantly reminded me of the beaches of Florida. My favorite place to get a delicious brew! Such a wonderful variety of tasty treats, always some serious flavor artistry up in here. Outrun has great merch, I collect their branded beer can glasses and almost always take home a 32oz Growler of my favorite beer on my way home. The staff here can always be counted on to be fun, helpful and overall lovely people. The revolving menu gives variety to each visit making your beverage enjoyment fresh and clean every time. The beer and service at Outrun Brewery are excellent, with a cool location in downtown Stone Mountain that has hipster vibes. However, the food trucks in the parking lot are a different story. I have tried them twice now and both times the food was terrible. My most recent experience with the BBQ food truck was a disaster. I ordered the barria chicken nachos and was extremely disappointed. There was barely any chicken, the cheese tasted fake, and most of the chips were broken crumbs. I paid $16 plus a $2 tip, totaling $18 for the worst nachos I have ever had. While I will continue to enjoy Outrun Brewery, I will no longer be trying any food from the food trucks in their parking lot.
I had an amazing time at Outrun! When I came to work on some tasks, I was impressed by both the friendly staff and the cool vibe of the restaurant! If you're a fan of the 80's and enjoy a great fruity cocktail, this is the perfect spot for you! They also serve a unique pink rice dish that is absolutely delicious. If you're in the Atlanta or Stone Mountain area, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant.

Best local brewery! It was a very hot day so my friend and I (plus my pup) decided to top by for a beer. I loved the plum sour, and my friend raved about the pineapple one! Bringing a pup? Ask the bartender for a dog bowl and they’ll give him his own carafe of water too! So kind and thoughtful
Great atmosphere and great beer. They always have a fun seasonal rotation of craft brews. There is no food but they often have a food truck of some kind come by. Check the website to see if and who might be there. Also, great for families.
The beer at this place is top-notch and the staff are super friendly. I had a fantastic time during my first visit here. The atmosphere and the neon lights really added to the experience.
Outrun is such a fun place! I love all their beers and can always find something new to enjoy. Plus, the food trucks add a tasty treat. Excited for Stone Mountain Village!
