A weekend getaway to Windsor, reservations are highly recommended due to its popularity. Located in Essex County along the lake Oxley is among a group of wineries along this stretch of lakefront. Upon entering, the narrow ride in between vineyards really exemplifies the feeling of exciting that awaits you. The ambiance is truly romantic and the service was superb! Upon entering the venue, they've got lovely outdoor patio seating (which is where we sat) as well as indoor seating. Most weekends the Oxley has live music from 3-6 for those dropping in for a wine tour/ tasting and/or a meal. Their menu has a great selection displaying the culinary collaboration and local ingredients For starters...
This was our 3rd stop on our wine tasting party. So yes,, we're pretty much tipsy and ready to eat at this point in time. So before we left, we already put in our orders ahead of time, so that once we've arrived we can do the wine tasting thing. 4 wines,,, 2 whites and 2 reds. See by this point,, we've already consumed enough alcohol for us to sort of not be able to taste the difference anymore. But the tipsiness in essence makes the food taste really good. I love fish and I had the Lake Perch dish. My fiancé did the duck wings. Lake Perch Lightly breaded, crunchy, yummy and very delicate. It's not hard to do fish, but it's comforting to know that these guys know how to execute a proper fish...
We have eaten at Oxley probably up to 5 times in 2018. The places has a great atmosphere. The staff cares about customer service and made some excellent recommendations. Extremly attentive during all our visits. This time we had 2 of the duck wings (must try), the perch dinner and lamb chops. All were outstanding. I hope this place never closes. It really is special.
Cute vineyard. We did a flight of white and a flight of red. Each had some hits and some misses. There was a covered area with nice little tables to do your tasting from and glasses were marked for ease of reference. Beautiful setting and great garden area. We sat on the patio on a glorious late April afternoon and it was amazing. The views matched only by the fabulous food and wine. This whole area of South-West Ontario is grossly under-rated as a wine scene. Its just fantastic. Highly recommended, 9/10
Whenever I tell people that the winery scene in Southern Ontario is underrated, this is the place that comes to mind with its excellent wines and service! As someone from Detroit who frequently crosses the border to visit, I can say it's an absolute must!

Absolutely lovely setting with beautiful gardens. This is only enhanced by the fantastic quality of the food. Oh, the wine is excellent also!
