Our first time in Grand Bend and decided to check this place out because of the reviews. I requested a bottle of flat and sparkling water. The server looked at me like I was from another planet, scoffed and said they haven't had bottled water...in years. Really? Who doesn't have bottled water? We settled on Soda water which I had to ask for refills twice and never got it I ordered the pickerel which was cooked to perfection, however WAY TOO MUCH Cajun seasoning And unfortunately could not finish it. My husband had the best curry chicken I had ever tasted. My kids ordered the chicken strips and a chicken wrap both of which were Meh. There was a family that brought their dogs, with the dog bed...
We have dined here or times in the last years. Each time we are amazed with the meal. They offer some different things on the menu and deliver big. The place is a bit small and not too impressive when you enter,...with trash sitting around the entrance door on the ground. The parking lot is equally unimpressive. But the food makes the visit worthwhile. I have probably enjoyed my best restaurant meals in Grand Bend at Paddingtons.
Enjoyed my first meal out in a long time due to covid. The service, meal and staff were incredible. We enjoyed a fish and chip meal and the chimichangas beef special with greek salad. Both were absolutely fabulous. Will come back for sure. My only...suggestion is to have a better variety of hot sauce selection available. We like it in all our meals. Thank you.
First time at this restaurant, always been too busy for us to get a table, this time called a few days ahead and got a reservation. Went Sunday night at not busy at all, Tables nicely spaced out, staff wearing masks, no one to...great us at the door, we went looking for a staff member. Food was good, service was good. I absolutely adore this fantastic restaurant. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and I can't get enough of their curry! The fish and chips are the best I've had outside of the UK. The patio is wonderful, and the interior is a nice option when you want to take a break from the sun.
We have dined here many times over the years and had really good food. However we took some friends there for lunch last Friday and, on our advice, we all ordered fish and chips it was awful, it seemed like yesterdays food recooked! No more...lunches there, very disappointing.
Always try to stop here when passing thru. The food is always delicious and the new patio is lovley. The new owner is very accommodating and friendly and doing great things with paddingtons, keep up the great work!! Would recommend eating here when in Grand...Bend
The food was outstanding. We had a pear and walnut salad, then cajun fish and chicken pot pie. Both meals were outstanding. The service by Kristen was impeccable, and the atmosphere was great. Will definitely be back. Always one of our favourites. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Had the Prime Rib on Sunday, it was awesome, our waitress was awesome as well, Linda was her name I thought she was the owner she was so enthusiastic. She talked about specials and the food how good it was very informative.
