Whilst in town on a business trip a few of us went here after being told it is the place to eat curry in Leicester...and I totally agree! You don 't find it by accident as it 's on he edge of a housing area and not a street you 'd wander along by accident...but judging by how busy it is it 's very well known about. The decor is fitting with many portraits on most walls The menu is extensive but not the 'traditional ' (English) Indian curry house...but that 's not a bad thing! Of note is crispy aubergine...which tastes amazing! There 's a number of unusual twists to the menu that make Paddy 's stand out, which makes this place worthy of repeated visits. The price, whilst not cheap, wasn 't ex...
Staff were attentive and took drinks order quickly. Comprehensive menu, probably too much choice. Long wait for the starters to arrive even though the pub was not very busy. However it did get busy during the evening and was quite noisy, the loud music didn’t help. The food was served hot, always a good thing and most of us enjoyed the food which on the whole was quite nice. Basically, the whole experience and food was nothing special, it was ok. There are definitely better curry houses in Leicester.
Paddys has long been a favourite but after moving 15 mls away and covid etc I haven’t been for 4 years pleased to say it is as good as ever, I moved to oakham and we have an excellent Indian restaurant but Paddys is a different level we had 5 different curries 3 of them large not a poor one amongst them only argument whether the lamb saag was better than the jalfrezi lol
We visited here after many years of hearing about the great food sadly we were disappointed the starters salt pepper fish paneer shaslick were delicious but the mains were disappointing we ordered two dishes kidney bean aubergine/potato which appeared to be in the same tomato curry base as were our friends chicken dishes the Dahl though was nice fells rather overpriced

We had a huge family meal here for our son’s 16th birthday. The food was perfect as always. Portion sizes were generous. Everyone left with full tummy’s and a smile on their face. Service was on point. All staff friendly and attentive. We didn’t feel rushed, and we’re able to take our time between courses Thank you so much to the staff at paddy’s
Arrived at 6.46pm without booking.we did get a table after a short wait. Pub was very busy and we were taken upstairs to a very cold room. Order was taken and when food arrived order was wrong.food was of poor quality, meat was chewy and tikka massage sauce was runny like water and not very nice. The whole experience was very disappointing.
Best curry in Leicestershire without a doubt! First visit tonight in my Birthday recommended by some friends from work. Simply the best curry I have ever had in my life. Curry’s were delicious and you can taste the individual spices that has gone into making them. Will deffo be a regular customer!
We have been coming here for a number of years on a very regular basis. The food is incredible. The best place for Indian food! The salt and pepper fish is outstanding! The service is excellent in a fantastic venue with a great atmosphere.

Mid week meal out with friends to catch up. Really friendly and attentive service. Food was very tasty, served hot a fresh. I had the fish tawa which was lovely, came with naan and rice £15.95 Definitely return
