I had a really disappointing experience at the restaurant in the Commerce 1 building. My partner had previously enjoyed this place when he worked in the city, but my experience was quite the opposite. The service was lacking, the manager was rude, and the food left much to be desired. I ordered the Chicken Caesar salad, hoping for something tasty, but all I got was a basic salad topped with cold, dry chicken breast for $9.00. I really cannot recommend this place; it's overrated and there are plenty of better dining options nearby.
Stop by here in the mornings sometimes before work. I too noticed what another yelper said about the staff being rude. I witnessed a grown male worker degrading another young female worker (probably still a teenager) about her appearance and weight. You could tell the girl was embarrassed and kind of just played it off. Is this the type of culture this place promotes? I felt so bad for her it made my stomach turn. He was completely rude and disrespectful and for that reason I will not be returning. Shame on him.
Absolutely terrible. On my first visit, I left after waiting an hour for my sandwich. The second visit didn’t improve – the chicken salad sandwich was bland. On my third visit, I took a bite of the chicken parmesan sandwich and found a 10-inch long black hair in it. Overall, the food gets a 1, service a 1, but I will say the atmosphere was decent, so I'll give it a 4.
Always great service! From the moment i arrive at the electric kiosk, I am greated by the friendly and responsive staff. The quality of the food is a huge upgrade from the previous tenant. In my opinion, the pizza has the perfect New York style crispness and the sandwiches are spot on, a bit pricy, but i still feel i am getting good value there. Service: Take out
