Great location and the best mochi donuts! Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with the cashier taking orders. She looked at me with clear reluctance to help, almost as if she hated her job, which really doesn’t represent the vibe of this place. When I asked about the flavors, she barely responded and her attitude was off-putting. She definitely needs customer service training. However, despite the poor attitude from the girl named Kip (as shown on the receipt), it doesn’t take away from the delicious mochi donuts that keep us coming back! On a positive note, the staff member wearing the light green Pa’ina shirt who handed me my order was very courteous and had a pleasant demeanor...
The way the salmon was lazily cut will make me never order salmon from here again. Almost ever piece was not trimmed of skin and fat. And I can tell from other pictures in these reviews that this happens often. This made for a really unpleasant eating experience. Please pay attention to how to properly prepare salmon for poke. There are tutorials on YouTube if employees are unsure. The mochi donuts at Pa'ina Cafe were absolutely amazing! The poke was fresh and delicious as well. The customer service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and spotless. After trying their menu, I honestly can’t go back to regular donuts ever again.
