Located on the Royal Mile, Hidden on The Pakora Bar offers a great atmosphere and delicious food in a beautiful location near the Parliament side of the street. The butter chicken and rice were delicious, as was the aubergine pakora. The Punjabi and mint yogurt sauces paired well with the dishes and were recommended to us. I washed it all down with a nice beer. I recommend stopping by for a meal or drink when in the area, as it is definitely worth it.
wow, what an amazing place, the meal was amazing and very friendly staff and the owner was a great guy to talk about his restaurant. they really brought their hearts and their souls into this business. I had the lamb curry and wow it was full of taste. they can sit inside or outside, which is great to have this choice. if I could give more stars, I would thank them again for the amazing meal and service. I will be back in any case!
We had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant! My family and I had dinner here and it was truly excellent. The service was outstanding, very attentive and patient, and the staff were extremely helpful in guiding us through the menu. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are staying on the Royal Mile.
I was able to dine at this restaurant right before it closed, and I was impressed with the amazing food and the opportunity to try something new. Even my kids enjoyed the experience! 2nd visit, different choices from the brilliant menu. Just as delicious as before with warm, friendly, knowledgeable service in comfy surrounds. Well placed on the high street, great value with in and outdoors seating. Would and do recommend!
What an absolute treat, they also cater well for gluten free (coeliac). Lots of dishes that are really tasty that you can't get anywhere else! Highly recommended.
Keenly priced (based on one visit sitting in) range of pakoras (10 or so types), dhal soups and other such items with friendly service, occasional DJ sets
