We were looking around for a place for lunch (not at all an easy task in regional Spain at siesta time! and decided to try the cafe attached to the new Palacio de Ubeda. It 's located around the corner from the Hotel and restaurant entrance. We were so delighted with not only the interesting lunch menu and food presented, but also the service, so we decided straight away to go and book a table for our Wedding Anniversary dinner that same night. We were not at all disappointed! The service was friendly and helpful, despite their limited English and our very limited Spanish, as the delightful waitress and waiter went to trouble to explain every plate of our 10 course degustation menu in detail...
Desde el momento en que llegamos, supimos que sería una experiencia especial. El ambiente es acogedor, con una decoración moderna y elegante que invita a relajarse y disfrutar. La atención del personal fue impecable: amables, atentos y siempre dispuestos a ofrecer recomendaciones acertadas. La comida, sencillamente espectacular. Cada plato estaba perfectamente presentado y lleno de sabor. Se nota el cuidado por los ingredientes frescos y la dedicación en cada preparación. La relación calidad-precio es más que justa considerando la calidad del servicio y la experiencia gastronómica que ofrece el lugar. Sin duda, es uno de esos restaurantes a los que quieres volver una y otra vez.
We had a light (tapas) lunch and wine on the terrace since we had our dog with us. We chose it because there were a couple of business men eating lunch always a good sign! We were given 2 delicious small skewers of octopus and vegetables before ordering, then ordered several other tapa. All were delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Not expecting to find this quality of food in Ubéda, it was simply amazing and the large tasting menu was VERY reasonable in price... Chef Pedro Hervás was active even in presenting the amazing dishes which was a tour in traditional cuisine and modern Spanish. I will be back when I pass this little gem and I expect to see a Michelin star... it's deserved.

The place looks absolutely new, interior is probably the nicest modern restaurant in the area. We had a tapas lunch, first we got a small tasty salat , much more than the standard olives on the house. The tapas were fresh, interesting and good. The chairs are comfortable. friendly and good service.
Un sitio con un ambiente exclusivo y tranquilo. El servicio muy atento y te va haciendo sugerencias sobre la carta que a mí me ayudaron. Las mollejas cuando las vi me sorprendieron y me hicieron dudar pero al probarlas que encantado con la combinación de sabores. Repetiremos seguro.
Me he hospedado 3 dias, en el palacio de Úbeda, y sólo he venido a comer a este restaurant. Que la comida es excelente. Ademas, de la atención y sobre todos los detalles de los platos. Muy delicioso todo lo que probamos. Se merece más de 5 estrellas
Restaurante ideal para ir con pareja, amigos o familia. Comida muy buena, con muchos platos e ingredientes procedentes de Jaén y de máxima calidad. Recomiendo la cata de aceites.
