Update: Visited Saturday, August 27, 2022. Brianna the waitress was amazing. 5 stars for Brianna. The food was 3 stars. Ordered Calamari Mozzarella appetizers. Unfortunately, the Calamari came out with a hair in the dish. They took it away and brought a new dish. Not a big issue for us. The replacement dish was hot and appeared like a fresh replacement dish. Again, unfortunately, it smelled like fish. That's not a good sign of freshness. Mozzarella was good. Ordered the surf and turf dinner to split since we had 2 appetizers. The steak was marinated in an odd tasting marinade. The meat was tender and it was edible. We just didn't understand it. The dining experience was disappointing from the beginning. We were seated in what appeared to be a waiting room connected to the restaurant, with couches and another table nearby. It took a long time to get our drinks, and we were asked for our food order even before receiving our drinks, twice. The food was average at best, with the homemade seafood cake being deep fried and served on breaded, previously frozen hockey pucks, which was not mentioned on the menu. I had heard wonderful things about this restaurant, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the food. The lobster seafood cakes were advertised as homemade, but did not taste like it and were not worth the high price of around $30. The skirt steak sandwich was just okay. The biggest disappointment was that the bar was out of white wine, which was unexpected for a restaurant with a full bar. On a positive note, our server was friendly and we liked the atmosphere. I hope they can make improvements because it is a convenient location for me and I enjoy supporting local businesses.
Attended a party here, was quite impressed with food and service. Cold antipasto very good just needed some balsamic vinegar. Hot antipasto was excellent, included oysters,baked clams, fried calamari. Then penne vodka was one of the best I've ever had. Unfortunately all this great stuff led up to a disappointing entre of flank steak with onions, broccoli, carrots, and mashed potatoes. A lot of food, but tasted nuked in a microwave. Cookies and espresso made it all better. I will definitely return with family for more of the Italian food.

Did not realize Palomino stays open until 4am!!! When I am out late partying and starving, believe me I will stop in. Their food was unexpectedly very fresh. You taste the difference with everything. The Blue Point oysters were the freshest I have ever tasted. They make these special dark fries that also tasted superb!! Salads, Chicken and flounder were all very fresh tasting. I would recommend a visit. To top it all off, they make a cheesecake martini if you like dairy) that is to die for!
We enjoy all of the Palomino Group restaurants. My husband loves the Paella on the regular menu. We went for the Christmas Eve Prix Fix Menu and were a group of 5. Everybody enjoyed drinks, appetizers, entree and deserts. My only comment is that the Grilled Shrimp on the special menu were a bit small for the number. I love their Blood Orange Sangria and was pleasantly surprised with the chocolate bread pudding for desert. I make my own and this was excellent!
The owner is not very pleasant, and they clearly lack the skill to shuck clams—something that’s quite simple to do. I visited three different nights, and each time, they ended up tossing the clams in the garbage. It feels like a lack of basic professionalism.
A blonde woman who is in her 20s (taking a shift around 1 am) was disrespectful to us because she was showing attitude towards us by our questions we were asking about the menu. The atmosphere was not welcoming what so ever.

Bobbie’s bow tie pasta is sooooo freaken good ! 10/10! And if you didn’t know, fun fact, its named after the bartender and shes great so if you dont know what to order, get this
This establishment is of the highest quality in town. Bobbi is an absolute pleasure and the rest of the staff are attentive and friendly.
