I previously used to come here frequently, so, when I was in the area again, I decided to stop by. The food tasted fine, as usual, however I noticed two changes from the years prior. They appear to use this electronic tool for placing orders. Using this seems to allow them to have customers pay at the table, thus reducing congestion at the front desk. However, at least from my experience, this has less versatility for the more particular orders where a customer might want stuff excluded. In such situations, a paper and pencil would be superior. The second change I noticed was how the chocolate chip pancakes were made. Previously, it used to be three large chocolate chip pancakes in a flower...
Very poor service; although friendly it was extremely slow. Meals for two people came out 10 minutes apart. The quality of food was severely lacking. Thinking I was ordering something healthy, an English Muffin with poached eggs and salmon, I receivedsalmon patties and basically two hard boiled eggs. The sauce was thick and cold. The side of avocado was brown and the fruitliterally looked rotten. I requested that she remove it from the bill. The pancakes on the other meal came out cold and afterrequesting butter and syrup, it took a good 5-7 minutes for that to arrive. It seemed that an attempt was made to update thedecor of the dining room, the bathrooms were extremely dated and dirty.
Forgot our order and then ended up waiting for 20+ minutes before they managed to make a simple omelet. So I can only guess that they didn't feel like they needed to put any kind if rush to get our order done asap. Call me old fashioned, but in the customerservice industry if you have made a mistake and a customer is left waiting, you put a rush on it to make it right. Cherry on topis that they didn't even apologize or acknowledge they made a mistake
The food at Pancake Café is reasonably priced and affordable, allowing you to enjoy a great meal without hurting your wallet. This has become my favorite breakfast spot from now on! I’ll definitely be returning—the menu offers a fantastic variety of interesting options. When we visited last time, the staff were very helpful and polite, making me feel well taken care of. They handled everything promptly, which added to a satisfying dining experience.

Although they were short-staffed like many places, the food here is still well worth the wait. The two hostesses/servers/managers were hustling to keep up with the Sunday morning rush, and they did an impressive job! The baked omelettes were perfectly prepared, thanks to a kitchen crew that was also stretched thin. These hardworking individuals truly deserve a raise for their exceptional performance during these challenging times.
Pancake Café is a fantastic spot—very clean and inviting. The food tastes incredibly fresh, clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The waffles and crepes were delicious! Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size, which is rare to find these days, especially compared to fast food chains.
Wonderful experience. I think they are short staffed, so service was slow, but all staff was very polite and communicative about wait times. (Our waitress was phenomenal! I didn't have anywhere to be so I really didn't mind sitting and waiting. Food was great, I will be returning!
You can truly taste the freshness in every dish they serve, from the waffles and crepes to the sandwiches and desserts. It’s definitely worth a visit! The entire menu looks incredible, offering delicious quality at a reasonable price. I’d gladly recommend it to friends and family!

Our server was excellent. She accurately took our order and checked in on us at the right moments. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. Everything was fresh and flavorful.
