Initially, two were assisting a customer, but after that customer left, one went to the back, and the other poured himself a cup of queso before also disappearing. I absolutely love pancheros and the food they have to offer. But this location specifically (Arden Hills, MN) has the WORST customer service. The workers here speak and yell to each other in Spanish while laughing obnoxiously throughout the entire restaurant to each other. it 's the only thing you hear when you 're trying to enjoy your food that was prepared by some unhappy, slow moving, quit bothering me attitude workers. We visited the location in Stillwater, MN, but that one isn't listed here. This was our first visit, and unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. The food was quite bland; while it seemed fresh, it lacked flavor. We both ordered bowls—one with chicken and the other with pork, each with a variety of toppings and sauces. We tried almost everything on the line, except for tofu, queso, steak, and guacamole. The only highlight was the fresh, diced jalapeños, which added some much-needed flavor. Gosh, we tried hard to like the place as an alternative to other National burrito chain but alas, it simply fell short. Between the service, cleanliness and food each area was critically disappointing. Service was sloth slow and emotionless. It's understandable that all fast food is suffering from labor shortages and the big sign in window made it clear they were too. Cleanliness was failing. Maybe due to shortage of staff but the location was dirty. Most concerning food temperature, appearance and taste. Incorrect Temperature at a restaurant can make a person sick. And the steam table at this location was not proper. Everything was overly/unnecessarily salty.

Pancheros is definitely one of my favorite dining spots, but my recent experiences at this location have been disappointing. A few weeks ago, I waited about 10 minutes while they prepared six to-go burritos, only to be told at the counter that they were out of burritos. Tonight, my husband and I arrived at 8 PM to find the line nearly closed, and we were fortunate the doors were even unlocked. Unfortunately, our food was made with limited, dried-up leftovers. The staff moves at an incredibly slow pace, regardless of how busy it gets. While the food is usually delicious, the service has been a letdown.
Came here on a Sunday at 3:00 pm. Tables were filthy, bathrooms didn't have paper towels and looked not clean. Ordered a burrito and a bowl for my husband and I. We ate in the restaurant and the food was cold. I used to love eating here but it has really gone downhill. Overall it felt not clean inside and food was terrible and cold.
The cleanliness of the restaurant leaves much to be desired. There are only a handful of staff members, which leads to them getting in each other's way and working at a slow pace. Online orders are rarely ready on time, and the staff seems to lack attentiveness to customers.
If you’re craving Chipotle but find all the locations closed, this is the place to go. They have a menu that's quite similar, but with one standout feature: they cook the tortillas to order. There's nothing quite like a fresh tortilla!
