We dropped by on a Thursday night for an early dinner. The place was nearly empty. We were seated quickly and given menus. The server took our drink order. She gave us time to look it over and then took our order. The food came out fairly quickly. Everything looked nice and fresh. We served ourselves and dug in. Right away, I noticed the food was lacking flavor. We got the house chow mein that has chicken, shrimp, and BBQ pork. It should have been packed with flavor. I've dined at Panda Garden multiple times, and during my recent visit, I ordered my usual: pork fried rice and Kung Pao Chicken. To my surprise, I was served a plate overflowing with zucchini and just a handful of chicken pieces with peanuts. I informed my server that I had ordered Kung Pao Chicken, but they seemed unsure and didn't provide any clarity. It was uncomfortable when all the staff started conversing in their language. All I wanted was Kung Pao Chicken, but instead, I ended up with a plate of what I can only describe as Kung Pao Zucchini for $17! When they asked if they could pack up the dish to-go, I declined because I didn't want it at all. I ended up paying $38 for Kung Pao Zu...
The restaurant is on the pricier side, with potstickers costing $28 and a combo meal that includes rice and chow mein. Unfortunately, both the fried rice and chow mein were quite basic and lacking in flavor. I was hoping for something more authentic and appealing than Panda Express, but I found that Panda Express offered better taste at half the price. I was looking for a new spot with good food, but it seems I’ll have to keep searching.
When the food was served it wasn’t hot. It was cold. We asked the waitress if they could heat up our food. After they brought us back the food was still cold. They didn’t even ask us if the food was better than the first time. We told the waitress that helped us that the food was still cold, but she rolled her eyes and didn’t respond anything. The Spicy Salted Pork Chop not even closed to what I had been ordering. I got tidbits pieces of pork and not crispy at all. For $17 I should get better pork chop not small pieces not even with bones of pork.
Place is clean and service is good. Nice and polite people. I try a basic special fried rice. No good. Poor flavor poor materials. Hot Green tea was decent.
The prices are high I was thinking OK it might be good since the prices are high but nope the chicken looks weird !! Never again .
