During our first visit to the new Apple Valley, we were pleased with our experience. The cashier, Ian, was extremely friendly and helpful. He recommended trying their specialty drinks and desserts with our order. My wife ordered the Thai chicken soup and sesame chicken salad combo, I opted for the bacon turkey bravo and chicken with wild rice soup, and our sons each had the grilled cheese Mac and cheese sandwich and BBQ chicken sandwich, both with chips and a drink (our youngest also got a cookie). The food at this restaurant was fantastic. The atmosphere inside was very cozy, especially considering the crazy weather outside. The fireplace really added to the ambiance. The chocolate croissant was extremely chocolatey (more than other bakeries), which I personally enjoyed. The wild rice soup and salad sandwiches were also top-notch.
They didnt give me any cheese or croutons in my French onion soup whih ruins the whole thing and they sliced my baguette thin when I ordered thick cut.quite disappointed again.
Good food. Portions are small for the cost, specifically the salads. However, flatbreads are great and good size!
