Mark my word. I will NEVER give another dime to Panera Bread again. While their food is decently tasty, the value, portion-sizes, and prices are extremely sub-par. Despite my consistent anti-Panera feelings, I was feeling sick this week and knew soup should be on the menu. Against my judgement (in a weak moment), I ordered a few types of soup (specifically a bowl of Turkey chili for the hubs, a cup of broccoli cheddar, and Mac n' cheese in a sourdough bowl), two cookies, and a regular mango smoothie. Wow, where should I begin? I typically enjoy Panera Bread, but my experience tonight was quite interesting. My family arrived at 7:00, just two hours before the restaurant closed at 9:00. However, when we went to place our order, we were told that there were no baguettes available for sides and no tomato basil bread for the bacon turkey bravo sandwich. Furthermore, most of the tables inside were dirty. When I went to use the restroom, I found the floors covered in soapy water and the soap dispenser broken. I don’t know what’s going here in California with panera but you guy’s did not deliver on customer service and bagels and cream cheese I can’t believe this is how you guys do the legendary bagels a total let down. I got a “jalapeño bagel” where’s the jalapeños? There was no flavor or smell of jalapeño these bagels need attention. And you guy’s ask for tips at the register for what? So very disappointed as I used to really like Panera. Husband and I both ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwiches. When we received our order, there was no chicken inside the sandwiches. Sandwiches were re-made for us. The description said arugula but instead there were just some kind of greens, not arugula. We won't be back.
Came in tonight after doing my Christmas shopping. I'm didn't get the young ladies name but her customer service was amazing. She went above and beyond to help me. I will definitely be back great customer service and my bread was perfect.
I volunteered at a school event and we were served food from this restaurant. It exceeded my expectations as the dishes were well-prepared and flavorful, contrary to what I had previously heard about its mediocrity.

The sandwiches at this restaurant are absolutely delicious. My absolute favorite sandwich to order is the Napa Almond Sandwich. I've ordered it countless times and never get tired of it.
