I contracted food poisoning after receiving a pizza and salad delivery from Panera Twelve Corners in Brighton, NY, on July 31, 2022. When I called to report this incident, I was informed that the issue might have stemmed from something I had eaten in the past 2-3 days. This response was quite disappointing, as food poisoning symptoms can appear almost immediately or within a window of 6 to 24 hours. The CDC offers guidance on various contaminant categories and their corresponding time frames. This experience has left me disillusioned with Panera, as it seems they need to have a better understanding of these important facts.

The curbside pickup service at this location is unacceptable. It took 20 minutes for them to prepare a salad, and then an additional 10 minutes for someone to bring it to my car. What’s the point of curbside if it takes that long? To make matters worse, I had to call and ask about my order to get them moving; after that, my food finally arrived. No one even offered an apology for the ridiculous delay. Additionally, the quality of the food was disappointing compared to when I dine in—there was barely any protein and certainly not enough dressing. I cannot recommend this particular Panera location.
I got food poisoning from the pizza and salad delivery I received on 7/31/22 from Panera Twelve Corners in Brighton, NY. Called to report it, and was told emphatically it could have been from something else I ate within the past 2-3 days. They obviously do not read the reports from the CDC and other websites as food poisoning can happen almost instantly or 6 to 24 hours later. The CDC explains the categories of contaminants and the hours within which they occur. Very disappointed in Panera. They need to get their facts straight.
The food at Panera Bread is truly tasty. I’m taking off one star because they occasionally run out of some of our favorite dishes, and the parking in the plaza can be challenging, especially with students from the nearby school occupying many spots. Despite this, I’ll definitely return whenever I’m craving a meal. Overall, I’d rate the food 4 out of 5.
Don’t bother going absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced. Just left, out of bread bowls, out of bacon, out of cups. Terrible. Asked to speak to manager and was given attitude. Will be contacting corporate worst location for a Panera in Rochester, an embarrassment for anyone that works there or is associated with “Panera Bread” brand.

This was my first disappointing experience at Panera. The food was below average and certainly not worth the almost $45 I spent for lunch for my 84-year-old father and myself. I don’t mind paying for high quality, which is why I usually choose Panera when I can, but this experience made me feel cheated.
Liz offers outstanding service at the counter. I always love the hazelnut coffee!
