I would give them 0 starts if I could. Ordered Kabob e Gosfund today. Absolutely HORRIBLE Lamb was so chewy literally NOT EDIBLE AT ALL. Also less lamb pieces compared to rice but that wouldn?t be that much of a problem if the dam lamb was edible. Description says ?succulent lamb pieces.? Yea right completely the opposite so chewy can?t even eat it. Also order kabob e murgh, such less chicken pieces compared to the rice and the chicken is so bland and tasteless. I DO NOT
I had a pleasant overall experience at this restaurant, but I can only give it 3 stars due to the small portion size and high prices. The food was tasty, but lacked enough flavor. There are other Afghan restaurants nearby that offer larger portions, better prices, and more flavorful dishes. Despite this, the service was good, and the meats were cooked perfectly. I may consider returning in the future to form a better opinion.
Absolutely amazing!!! The food is incredibly flavorful and delicious. The portions are generous and the combinations of flavors are heavenly, making us want to come back for more. The lamb is unbelievably tender. Don't miss out on trying this fantastic restaurant - you'll be raving about their food as well. There is plenty of seating and beautiful decor, a well-stocked bar, and efficient and friendly service.
The neighborhood gem in Falls Church, VA is one of my favorite restaurants. It?s authentic Afghan food, so delicious and fresh. I like to try a variety of things when dining there, and Matt the owner, is so attentive and hospitable. Be sure to check it out next time your near Falls Church. We were a larger party of 10 and had made reservations. Our table was ready for us when we arrived and the owner (I think) welcomed us. Several people had been here before. There are options for everyone. I had the vegetarian sampler, which was delicious and flavorful. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The restaurant has great ambience with Afghan artwork and crafts adorning the walls. Highly recommend.
This restaurant is the best in the entire DMV/Nova area! The staff is amazing and their food is authentic. I especially love their soups! Every item on their menu is delicious and I will definitely keep coming back. The service is always top-notch and I have never had a bad meal here. The flavors are exceptional and this restaurant is truly outstanding and unforgettable!
