Das Restaurant befindet sich oben auf den Hoadl Bergen und war auch das Ende der Olympiabahn. Das Restaurant verfügt über massive, mehrstöckige große Panoramafenster, die einen weiten Blick auf die umliegenden Berge und sogar Innsbruck 12 Kilometer entfernt bieten. Das Wetter draußen war nicht förderlich, um draußen zu essen. Die Panoramafenster scheinen sich während des wärmeren Wetters zu öffnen. Das Essen war im Cafeteria-Stil, aber die umfangreiche und qualitativ hochwertige Vielfalt an angebotenen Gerichten war beeindruckend. Sowohl traditionelle österreichische Küche als auch internationale Gerichte wurden angeboten. Ich habe es mir zur Aufgabe gemacht, in einen Rindenstampfer zu tauch...
At the top of the mountain at 2340 meters you find the very modern Hoadl Haus. Huge glass front which opens for warm weather. It is self service with a great variety of dishes. Mainly local Tyrolean and Austrian cooking. Different appetizers, salads, several hot dishes and a variety of hot and cold desserts. The quality is outstanding for such a location.
Wonderfully situated at the top of the Olympiabahn, you have a great view of the surrounding area and pistes. The restaurant is beautiful outside and in, but the prices are higher than in the valley, but not to expensive. We walked up from the car park and it was a lovely energetic stroll. The views on the way up were awesome but at the top they took your breath away. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and certainly worth trying. The scenery was...the best part though and you'll be amazed by it.
