Valentine dinner at the top of the mountain why not? We booked the valentine dinner to make this event unforgettable but it ended up in a full disappointment. As for a valentine dinner you could certainly be expecting something special bud these guys, with...all due respect, didn't show any creativity in their set up. No ambience, poor food quality and worst of all was the vine it had cork and sadly wise there was no replacement to be considered, that made it better as for the wine. Well what more could you expect? Definitely more for the price of CHF per person. Drinks were charged (water, wine and coffee etc additionally . This was a full night mare and we were supper unhappy about everyth...
Wir waren dort für das 'Sunday Brunch' Frühstücksbuffet, das ziemlich großartig ist. Alle Arten von frischem Brot, Käse, Müsli, Fleisch (einschließlich Lachs), Rösti, Speck und Würstchen, Getränke und so weiter. Sehr lecker, stellen Sie nur sicher, dass Sie genug Zeit haben und vielleicht ein paar Tage vorher nicht essen... . Etwas, das sie verbessern könnten, wären frische Säfte und eine größere Auswahl an Eiern. Die Gondelfahrt zum Stockhorn ist atemberaubend. Die angenehme Mittelstation hat einen wunderschönen See. Sobald man nach oben fährt, hat man einen Rundumblick (dank des Aussichtszentrums, das direkt in den Berg gehauen wurde)! Das Restaurant verfügt über Tische drinnen und draußen, je nach Wetter. Wir saßen draußen und entschieden uns für eines der beiden angebotenen Specials. Wir wählten den Salat (aber die Suppe war auch gut) und Raclette. Das Raclette war mit bunten, zarten Alpenblumen garniert. Es war sehr schweizerisch und sehr gut! Zum Nachtisch hatten wir Schokoladeneis mit Schlagsahne obenauf. Der Nachtisch war mit Erdbeeren und Minze garniert. Perfekt!
Wir waren heute auf dem Stockhorn, und im Simmental im Tal haben wir unser Auto kostenlos geparkt und ein Kombiticket für Seilbahnfahrt und Mittagessen gekauft. Nach dem Stopp auf 1650 m fuhren wir mit der nächsten Seilbahn hinauf auf...2200 m. Coole Fahrt, wir haben einige Bergziegen und viel Schnee gesehen. Im Panoramarestaurant gab es ein gutes Tagesgericht und die Rösti mit Speck und Eiern geben einem wieder Kraft. Schade, dass die Wolken aufzogen und wir nur für ein paar Minuten eine tolle Aussicht hatten, aber der Aufstieg hat sich gelohnt... Gutes Essen, nette Leute, gute Preise. Alles Gute... The gondola up to the Stockhorn is breathtaking. Pleasant middle station has a beautiful lake. Once you transfer to the top you have vistas all around (thanks to the viewing center carved right out of the mountain The restaurant has tables inside and outside depending...on weather. We sat outside and had one of the two specials offered. We chose the salad (but the soup was good too) and Raclette. The Raclette was garnished with colorful, delicate alpine flowers. It was very Swiss and Very good! For dessert we had chocolate ice cream with whipped cream on top. Dessert was garnished with strawberry and mint. Perfect!
Wir haben im Voraus für das Frühstück reserviert und sind um 9.20 Uhr mit der Seilbahn zum Stockhorn gefahren. Es gab eine große Auswahl an Speisen, einschließlich Müsli, Joghurt, verschiedenen Broten und Croissants, kaltem Fleisch, Käse und Konserven. Als warme Gerichte gab es Rösti und Rührei; sie konnten auch beim Nachschenken von Saft, Tee und Kaffee helfen. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben unser Frühstück sehr genossen mit Aussicht. Bei CHF20 fanden wir es angemessen, angesichts der hohen Preise in der Schweiz, und würden es auf jeden Fall empfehlen.
We booked in advance for breakfast and took the cable car up Stockhorn. There was a great choice of food, including cereals, yoghurts, different breads and croissants, cold meats, cheeses and preserves. For a hot dish, there was rosti and scrambled eggs; you could...also help yourself to fruit juices, tea and coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our breakfast with a view. At each, we thought it was reasonable, considering the high price of everything in Switzerland, and we would definitely recommend it.
We visited on what may have been one of the busiest day of the year, so maybe the staff was a bit overwhelmed. But at there was no hot food available in the self service section anymore and we didnt want to loose time...waiting to be served in the proper' restaurant. So we just had some dry overpriced sandwiches and overheard how the staff quarreled about lunch time breaks etc. Not great. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food was good and fairly rapidly served even on a busy day, but not all the serving personnel were friendly and the price is high for what you get. There is not over much space inside, and out on the terrace there can be...a cool wind, even on a fine day, you may need warm clothing!
