I stumbled upon this hidden gem and it was an amazing discovery! I opted for a quick burger with seasoned fries, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice—the price was just right, and both the burger and fries were outstanding. I just wish I had known how good the fries were earlier; I would have definitely ordered a separate serving. The staff were attentive and processed my order quickly. The place has a cozy, hometown vibe; I enjoyed listening to the welcoming interactions between customers and staff, many of whom greeted each other by name. This charming local eatery is a fantastic spot for breakfast and lunch! Recently remodeled, it has a lovely, clean interior. The owners are genuinely friendly, and the food has that comforting homemade taste. Their breakfast burritos are simply delicious—some of the best in town! The chili has a nice kick, and the ingredients are perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of tasty potatoes. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. The lunch burritos are equally delightful, especially the beef and bean option, which is hearty and cheesy. Papa Frank's is a true gem in the downtown area and definitely worth a visit!
This little hike in the wall was a fantastic find. I chose a quick burger with seasoned fries. The price is perfect, the burger and fries were phenomenal, I only wished I knew that summer I would've gotten a separate order of fries. The staff were attentive and quick to process the order. It has that home town feel to it, I just sat there and listened as people came and went and they greeted the staff by name. There were numerous exchanges in greetings with staff and customers. I'll definitely be returning, hopefully one day they'll know me by name. ?? FYI, they do close at 2pm so make sure you get there early.
Googled top NM style breakfast spots and this came up. Good job Google! I had the huevos rancheros and wife had the b-fast plate. Loved it! Red chili has a rich flavor, ingredients also fresh and prepared right. Best part? The owners. Took our order, then made a point to get to know us. Very down to earth people who obviously love what they do and who they do it for. Wish service industry had more like them, and I was happy to give them my business. I absolutely love this place! The burritos are very reasonably priced. I ordered a bacon burrito with red sauce, and it was one of the best burritos I've ever tasted! It was so cheesy! All four of the burritos I ordered came out quickly. The owners are also some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! I highly recommend this spot—10/10! Food: 5/5.
