I called to place an order, but the call center mishandled it. They charged my card and then transferred me to the actual store. After talking to the manager, Joe, he refused to provide me with a discount or even offer free breadsticks as compensation for the inconvenience. Not only was I charged twice for my order, but now I have to dispute the charges with my credit card company. This was my first time ordering from this location on Boyette, and I am quite unhappy with the service I received.
I placed an order through DoorDash and waited 30 minutes after being told my food was in the oven. Paula, the woman at the front, assured me it would be ready soon. When I checked again inside, they said my order was still being prepared. After waiting another 20 minutes, I was told my order had just been put back in the oven! How does that even happen? It shouldn’t be this complicated—I used to work for Papa John’s, and it was never this difficult!
The staff at Papa John's are truly outstanding! Whenever there's a problem—whether it's because I entered the wrong address or accidentally chose the wrong options—they still provide a full refund despite it being my error. They also promptly send the corrected order and apologize for the inconvenience. I've never experienced such exceptional customer service from any company before. A big thank you to Papa John's for all they do for our community!
I ordered two large pizzas for delivery, but they took an excessively long time to arrive, even though I live in Fishhawk. This isn’t the first time I’ve faced delays. When I contacted another Papa John's in Riverview, they informed me that the Valrico location handles deliveries in my area. I've been a loyal customer of Papa John's for over ten years, but for the past year, they have stopped delivering to my area. It's quite frustrating, especially because my sister, who lives only a short distance away, can still order from their menu and receive deliveries without any issues.
This place is amazing! I absolutely love the pizza—it's the best around! The staff is always friendly and helpful whenever I visit, and the delivery drivers are quick and always greet me with a smile!
