We got of the water late and tried to order dinner from the papa johns off Orange Beach, AL. They not only put me on hold for 37min. They were one of the only place open later. They hung up on my wife twice why I continued to hold (trying to get through) then kept me on hold all the way till they closed. Never took my order, never appologized, and if I was not on hold for so long we could have had time to run and grab some quick fast food before everything else closed. Now my wife, two kids, and this Military Vet have to go hungry for the night because of the horrible customer service at this Papa Johns. As a Doordash driver, I have my fair share of bad experiences waiting for food at restaurants, especially down here. This Papa Johns works harder than any other restaurant I deliver for. From open to close, they are busting it to try to get pizzas out as fast as they can, even though they are severely understaffed. They’re so short on workers that the owner and manager are in here every day they’re open, working on pizzas just like everyone else. Because of that, their wait times are higher so just bear that in mind when ordering, but the pizza I deliver is always hot and the employees are always pleasant to deal with, even when they’re stressed beyond imagine. have two days (sat and sun) tried to order here. first the online phone number was wrong. I found out when he called someone else. then called the number she gave me a papa johns message, comes to say business is currently closed. but it is high time. drove on the way somewhere else no one there, no signs of any kind at the door.
If you are going to order pizza from this location during peak season the wait time is usually 2 hours for delivery and 1 hour for carry out. Pizza was good, consistent with the brand.
