There are two Papa Romano's locations on Crooks in Troy, and it can be confusing. This particular location is excellent, but we have not had much luck with the other one. I have fond memories of Papa Romano's from my childhood, with Bambino bread and deep dish pizza. When the location near my house closed, I was disappointed. Although this location is further away and does not deliver to our house, we still prefer it over the other location. There are two Papa Romano's locations on Crooks in Troy, which can be confusing. This particular location is good, with tasty pizzas that remind me of my childhood. The other location nearby has not been as satisfying. I appreciate the consistency of the staff at this location and believe they deserve recognition for their superior pizzas. And to the person who left a one-star review for not tipping, I have to speak up. If you can't afford to tip, you should not be getting delivery. It's not the driver's fault you don't have money. Order pick-up or wait until you can tip. Props to the driver for standing up to people like you. If you don't have money to tip, don't order delivery.
This is the first time ordering from Papa Romanos and I have to say this is one of my worst experience. I ordered pizza for my kids at 7 pm with delivery. At 8pm, I called them to get an update on the pizza and they told me that the order got cancelled because driver could not make it. At least they could've called and said they couldn't give food to my kids. I asked them to make another pizza and I could pick it up and the person on the phone said they were closed even though Google listed them being open for another 1 hour! This is the worst place to get pizza. Do not recommend!
The owner called me the next day and apologized for the way the situation was handled by the employee, acknowledging it was a training issue. They assured me that it would be rectified and offered to make amends for the mistake in any way they could. I suggested adding the ranch to our next order and thanked them for addressing the issue. Initially, I had given the service a one-star rating, but after someone reached out to resolve the issue, I decided to increase it to 3 stars. I'm cheap, I was looking for a delicious meal (for one) under 20 dollars. The staff was great the food was even better! My belly was very satisfied. Kid-friendliness: Kids love cookies. Papa has very tasty cookies!!

This restaurant is a great spot to pick up a fast sub or wrap for lunch, or order pizza for the whole office.
This location is always super nice and respectful always gets my food right! Love them.
