One of the better places on the island for sure. After a lackluster meal at Lawrence’s down the street, I was pleasantly surprised by Papi’s Taqueria. The menu had its weak spots I wouldn’t recommend the Nashville Hot taco, the Churros, or the salsa), but it made up for it with its extremely strong dishes fish tacos, guacamole, queso, steak taco, and street corn) Between the four us we nearly ordered everything on the menu, and despite the weaker dishes I would definitely opt for Papi’s over the majority of the restaurants on the island. It’s a refreshing meal that leaves you full but not feeling icky after, and the street corn is absolutely lovely if you go you HAVE to try it.
Great tiny taco shack and taqueria we stumbled upon on our leisurely Sunday! Everything tasted fresh and we got good sized portions of the tacos. You definitely only need one or two as they are hearty!! I wasn’t the biggest fan of the salsa or margarita (I’d just had better before) but the poblano queso was unique and delicious as well as the pork belly breakfast taco and fresh fish taco! It’s a cute quaint little spot too! Highly recommended.
Yes yes yes yes yes! This place is amazing! One of the best before or after beach spots. They have a really good variety on the menu, and it was all packed with so much flavor! I am a taco connoisseur, and I am telling you, you can't go wrong with Papi Taqueria. I can add this to my list of new favorite beach eats! Nothing beats a fresh suntan, salty hair, a margarita in your hand, and a tray full of yummy tacos! ?
Definitely one of the better restaurants here at the isle of palms sea side. Everything is kind of mid. I wish they served the tacos with 2 corn tortillas instead of one. $8 for one 3 taco. Still pretty good. My rice in my breakfast burrito was crunchy. the service is really the best though. Better than Windjammer and the rum place beside them.

On the way back from the beach, stopped here for a few tacos outside. Mandy, our server, was awesome. Recommended several different tacos. Kids menu rocked, $5 for taco and a side. Fast service, great food, and the restrooms were clean and stocked. Highly recommend this place.
The tacos are terrific, drinks are great, and food is great. It is a fairly small menu, but the tacos, nachos, taco salad, and beignet churros were all top notch. It's located near the beach, and has a nice little beach vibe. I'd highly recommend!
This place is fantastic!!! Great food, reasonable prices and super friendly employees. Love the Island vibe. There is a rooftop dining area with the ocean visible off the back.
Just ate there tonight. Tamales...outstanding! Tacos....killer. Chef Rusty, Bret Jones, y’all hit a homer. Susan loved the maggies. You got a winner here.

One amazing margarita , the queso and salsa had great flavor. I had the tuna amd steak tacos and both were delicious.
