We went in a large room and luckily we booked as the place was full on a weeknight. Greeted by a lovely Italian waiter who was passionate about the food (just the right amount and not too over the top). Got the divolo pizza and polenta chips to share. The pizza base was amazing.. airy yet crispy... one of the best I’ve had. The toppings were also very generous. I personally didn’t like the polenta chips as I could not taste any polenta filling. We visited Pappagallo's for dinner with 3 adults and 2 children (ages 3 and 4). When we arrived we felt the warm and welcoming atmosphere and we knew it must be good as the restaurant was filled with lots of people.<br/ <br/ The service was quick and friendly with the attentive waiter's, especially Nino the owner.<br/ <br/ We ordered pizza, fish of the day and chicken. The wood oven pizza was delicious, the base was thin and the toppings generous. I tried the parma (persuittto) and capriossa pizza and definitely worth ordering. *Rating is a 4.5*It's worth coming to Pappagallo's just to try their amazing pizza. Hands down one the most authentic tasty Italian pizzas in Perth. Have dined here many times and the food generally does not disappoint risotto's, pasta, calamari fritti and grilled fish have all been consistently good. For dessert you can't go past the ricotta donuts or the tiramisu (very rich but delicious) and the Sicilian cannoli with ricotta cream. If you’re looking for a quick spot of lunch, try their delicious paninis with their fresh in house baked pizza bread. There's a reason why this place is always packed and it can be quite hard to get a booking especially on a Saturday night. Good food, good serv...
So good. Can't believe we waited so long to visit. The staff are so friendly here and super helpful. We had the mussels, just a small one but definitely regretted it as we should've gotten a giant one! The mussels were cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing. The pizza is absolutely fantastic. They use mixed grains and the flavour comes through with every bite. It's such a gorgeous fragrant flavour that doesn't get overpowered by the pizza toppings. Can't wait to return, such good eats!

Nice atmosphere with friendly staff and great food! I can understand why this place is booked out for weeks in advance. Pictured was their special of the night which was ravioli in capsicum sauce which was amazing I can't remember which pizza we were there about a month ago Tiramisu was a huge serving, enough for 2 people to share and a cream Cannoli
Amazing food! Had the mussels and shared them as a starter. Was a massive portion for an entree. The sauce they were in was delicious we ordered more bread just to keep mopping it up.<br/ <br/ The pizzas are beautiful. Made in the proper Italian way, focusing on a good quality base and tomato sauce. <br/ <br/ Hope to come back if I’m in Perth again.
Was looking for a good pizza place and found this restaurant, which was fully booked, understandably. We had the Pappagallo pizza and calamaris to go and they tasted fabulous, even for a takeaway meal. Will definitely book in advance in future for a sense of the atmosphere in the restaurant :

Great suburban dining option. Loved the food we had. Bruschetta was so delicious and pasta for our mains were cooked beautifully. <br/ <br/ We did have dessert but it was only okay. Next time we will stick to the pasta!<br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/
Good food and prices are reasonable. Ambience is like any relaxing Italian restaurants. Friendly wait staff. Only problem parking is hard to find unless you are lucky to find one close to restaurant.
