My wife and I came here on a snowy Saturday night. We have always wanted to come here as she used to eat homemade Hungarian food growing up. The restaurant is simple, is BYOB, and has a cozy feel to it. There was one waiter who was also the host. He was very friendly. The food was fantastic! We had the pierogis that tasted homemade and they were huge. I had breaded pork chops with Hungarian noodles, which had bacon and cottage cheese. This restaurant is a cozy little spot that you might not expect to serve great food. We went specifically for the stuffed cabbage, but unfortunately, they were out of it. I recommend visiting earlier, as it seems to be their most popular dish. I can’t recall the names of the dishes we did try, but my husband and I ordered different options. Both were flavorful and delicious. Overall, it’s a charming little mom-and-pop place with tasty food.
Can’t believe I waited so long to visit this place. Food service were outstanding. We will definitely be back. Pictured dishes Lecho (vegetarian dish with tiny dumplings, tomatoes, onions peppers) very flavorful more than enough for leftovers. And Chicken Paprikas. Cold , tasted as if it came out of box, and microwaved not well). The food was disgusting. It was COLD and had ZERO FLAVORING.At no point we were asked if we needed anything. I didn’t even take home everything left on my plate to feed to my dogs. Never again !

First time here, Chicken Paprikas was delicious! Hubby had Pork chops, super tender and you get two. Homemade chicken noodle soup hit the spot. Definitely will be going back again. Staff super friendly . This place is a hidden gem.
Like being around the hungarian side of my family after so many years. Food was exactly like my grandfather used to make.
Fast and friendly service paired with amazing food. It might just be the best dining experience in Hellertown!
