This restaurant is our favorite stop on the way to the coast from Dallas for gluten-free and dairy-free options. We're not vegan, so we appreciate their prepared meals like beef, chicken, pork, or salmon with veggies and rice, pasta, and/or quinoa. The acai bowl was also delicious! The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is impeccably clean. Overall, we give it a 5 out of 5 for food quality.
Paravida Wellness Health Food is a health food store that offers Paleo, Keto, and Vegetarian meals, as well as health beverages. I caution you, though, as I recently purchased a banana muffin from there and found a one-inch pit embedded in it. As I continued to eat in small bites, I discovered that it was actually a date pit. Wow!
It's just okay. If you're looking for a meal without all the hassle of cooking and cleaning, this place is fine. However, I personally find the food to be lacking in seasoning, possibly due to my Mexican palate. I think I could season the food better myself.
I would rate this restaurant 10 out of 10. It can be really challenging to find keto-friendly options when you're away from home, but this place makes it much easier to stay on track with your goals. I will definitely be coming back as a customer.
I have visited Paravida about five times and can confidently say that it is the best place to get a healthy meal, especially for vegans! As an added bonus, they also offer a wide selection of vegan specialty foods.
