I was here for my cousin's wedding. Everything started out great! They even opened the venue early for us, as the ceremony was finished earlier than expected. From there it was down hill. It was not the largest wedding, maybe 100 people, but it was an open bar. They only had one bartender on for most of the night. Even though there was at least 8 girls in the back to help serve and clean up. The bar was closed during dinner service, which was expected but the food was very late coming out. It was almost 9:30pm before they reopened the bar! We were looking forward to a round of golf in this very pretty town. This is a very attractive course, reasonably well maintained, not for beginners! We found it a very difficult course to navigate, poorly signed (which way do you think the next hole might be? was a common question today) , no signs even to the first tee or even the 10th tee, yardages were difficult to ascertain - there were no markers on the tee blocks so we were left guessing most times, distances to hazards were not marked or on the scorecard. I guess if you are familiar with the course it's okay but would not recommend to visitors.
The course was is good shape. We had a great day, but a place that wants an image on the "elite" golf course list, should really do something about the clubhouse, and washrooms. It's very run down, and the washroom was gross. Positives were the course itself, and the wings were amazing....but it's time for a serious makeover...I would definitely return for the golf, and wings.
Proshop staff and starters very helpful and polite. Greens were running fairly quick. Conditions were average to above average. Pace of play was good. Some holes had some quirky design flaws. Enjoyed the day. Too bad i heard it is going to be a housing development in a couple years. Nice views of the grand river on the back nine. Some ones back yard soon.

Husbands golfed and the wives met up with them afterwards for a drink and supper. Waitress Sam was excellent. Food was very good. Had around 5 food specials available that night. The Swiss cheese and mushroom burger and the steak sandwiches were very good. We will return for more great food and service. The boys really enjoyed the golfing too!!
Played 27+ holes today with friends. It was a great day. Golf was excellent. Course in good shape, greens were very good. Customer service was great...cart girl came but a lot, waitstaff in clubhouse was awesome, food was very good. Prices are more than reasonable and it's a great value and worth the drive to Paris.
It is a great walk (equivalent of about 8000 steps and 24 stairs on my fit watch); it is hilly. The fairways are challening and almost each hole is unique.The grounds keepers keep the course in excellent shape and the greens are fast.Holes 11-13 lay beside the Grand River and give a back door view of Paris.
The course borders on being one of the nicest in the area. The cost however is very high. $68 with a cart for a week day rate. We were also stuck behind 12 foursomes of seniors. It was a slow round. 4 tall boys cost us $27. Would I go back? Probably but I would need to get a discount.

My experience at the spa was extremely enjoyable! Everything you need is already provided: a robe, flip flops, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and cotton pads.
i attended a wedding here in october 15 the place is set in lovely surroundings the golf club is lovely not too posh good food and great service
