Very disappointing for first time visit, late Saturday afternoon. Started off well, with good beer with music in the background. Friendly, helpful bartender-server. But the appetizers, deep fried green tomatoes, were burnt and the fried pickles barely flavored. Blackened catfish sandwiches featured a very small cut of fish (3 oz. or less), romaine lettuce, not arugula as menu stated. Compared to the picture of the fish and chips another user posted, the french fries looked to be cooked in day old oil. I wish I took a picture. If we go back, it will be for the beer and music, not the food.
When we arrived at Parish Public House, the waitress said she would be with us shortly. After waiting for half an hour, the bartender came over and told us we wouldn't be seated due to a backlog. He suggested another nearby place to try. When we mentioned our long wait, he responded, "you need to plan ahead for these things," even though there was only one bartender and one waitress working on a busy concert night. To add to the frustration, they served drinks to customers who arrived after us before addressing our needs.
We had lunch at this restaurant and ended up enjoying more beer than you typically would at that time, but it was fantastic! It was a really enjoyable experience to have a cold brew in the middle of the day. I ordered the Cajun black bean burger along with their Cajun fries. While the burger was slightly dry, it was incredibly tasty. I'm definitely looking forward to returning to this place!
This restaurant offers some of the finest food I've ever experienced in a pub. I especially loved the Mac and cheese with shrimp and sausage. The bartender was exceptional, showcasing talent in crafting a delightful Cajun Bloody Mary. It's a fantastic spot to stop by off the highway, and there’s plenty of parking available. Cheers!

This restaurant is beautiful and has a lovely New Orleans vibe, conveniently located right near NYU. The food is incredible! I ordered a fantastic drink—just asked for something fruity with rum, and they were more than happy to accommodate my request. The fish dinner was also excellent, cooked perfectly and not too spicy.
We had an amazing time at this restaurant, enjoying some delicious Cajun cuisine. We tried the shrimp po' boy and gator bites, paired with a Louisiana IPA. The service was outstanding, and we definitely intend to come back to this New Orleans-inspired spot. Highly recommended!
Parish Public House is a great place to sip on a crisp, ice-cold draft beer while savoring tasty Cajun-style cuisine. The bartender is both knowledgeable and talented.
The wings were incredible, and they offered a fantastic selection of whisky. The service was outstanding too. You really can't go wrong with this place!
