The best local coffee shop in St. Louis! While the downtown location was where I was first introduced to Park Avenue, I think I’ve made myself a local at every location in the City at this point though the OG Lafayette Square location is my fav)! The flavored drinks are yummy, but coffee is top-notch and flavorful enough to drink black. The food is always great the portions are decent in comparison to other coffee shops, so you feel like you are getting your moneys worth. They are known for their variety of gooey butter cakes, but anything I’ve had there has been yummy! My favorite part of Park Ave, though, is the people. The service at this location was quite disappointing. I entered intending to pick up a Coke to accompany my lunch. After I handed the young lady my payment, she carelessly placed my change on the counter and almost tossed my drink at me. This is one of the rudest behaviors I’ve encountered from a cashier. My friend had planned to order some items but decided against it after witnessing this interaction. It seemed like we interrupted their conversation, and it felt unprofessional. I genuinely enjoy your coffee, but I cannot overlook the rude behavior of the cashier. I will be sure to inform others not to visit this location while she is working.
This place is home to one of my favorite baristas in St. Louis! Corey Ernst-Davis...this shop is so much more than just great coffee and gooey butter cake (although this is my favorite spot for coffee This shop is a central location for networking, business meetings, and the genuine warmth, care, and hospitality of the workers there. What a great local spot! Brown sugar lavender latte with oat milk was delicious and well balanced, and the traditional butter cake was the Midwestern treat that was missing from my life until now. Friendly, fast baristas and a warm cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The coffee here is fantastic, especially considering the limited options in the area. The baked goods are delightful, although there aren't many savory choices for those who don't eat meat. The staff is very attentive and helpful.
Excellent as always! We always visit Park Avenue Coffee when in St. Louis and we love it. Each location has been great. The Gooey Butter Cake is amazing!!! Coffee is excellent as well.
A fantastic place to experience St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake! Plus, there's a lovely little pocket park across the street if you'd like to enjoy some outdoor seating.

Red Velvet and Double Chocolate Gooey Butter Cakes are phenomenal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great experience.
