A wonderful experience in an extraordinary ambience. One has a wonderful view of Vierwaldstaettersee, the lake while dining. The food was excellent. Service was OK, could have been better, keeping in mind how good the restaurant was. The restaurant is about an hour drive from Zurich. Unfortunately, the online reservation didn't work. Although we had a confirmation with a number sent by the hotel, the restaurant claimed not having any record of it. So make a reservation just by phone or at least reconfirm by phone.
Ate outside here with my wife on a sunny Sunday evening in June. The setting is beautiful. The food was really excellent. I had lobster bisque to start with, followed by a steak. Both were great quality and very well presented. We have visited some of the best steak restaurants in London and I would say this restaurant is even better. Wine to match was superb. Service was excellent. Not cheap but great value. I would recommend to anyone visiting Weggis.
Superb place to go in picturesque Weggis to enjoy a fabulous meaty dinner with lake view.Starters, mains and cheese selection as dessert were equally perfect as service.The wine selection is matching the quality of the fine dining, eg pick an excellent Chateau Neuf.Be it a business dinner or a romantic dinner for two, it's a wonderful place to enjoy few hours here. the price ratio of this restaurant is a bit disappointing. I paid for a glass of black pinot. The meal was very good, but the burger was a little too salty to my taste.
