I returned after being away for many years. Not the same place. Very dark lighting. Not many customers (Friday night and half empty). Yet no one even greeted us for 10 minutes despite people rushing past us. And in general slow service. We sat with our finished dinner plates for over 10 minutes. I was disappointed that you had to buy your bread which seems insulting when you are paying $70/plate. In general the food was good but not memorable. Only thing the same high quality was the ginger whole catfish. That dish was excellent. So a disappointing return to an old favorite.
My dinner at Parkway Grill was fantastic! I’d highly recommend Parkway Grill for any evening or celebratory dinner. I went to celebrate my grandmothers birthday. Elizabeth was our server and she was phenomenal the entire evening. She answered all of our questions and was very attentive with us. From appetizers to dessert, our dinner was wonderful. Parkway Grill even surprised my grandmother with a birthday card and a slice of cake. It was so thoughtful!
The service and food are fantastic at reasonable prices. This is a neighborhood gem for good reasons. The fish is fresh and the steaks are high quality. This time, they waved my corkage after decanting a Bordeaux. During the same meal, they brought over a baked potato from their next door restaurant. These are two small gestures, but they're perfect examples of the extra mile this place goes to make your evening enjoyable. It's now in regular rotation.
We dined at the Parkway Grill to celebrate my birthday. Juan our server was fantastic and his associate, Arturo provided great service. We hadn’t been there in awhile so I was pleased that the food is still wonderful! Wish they would open for lunch

amazing place that eat is great, tasty, well presented. our waiter was patrick and he was just perfect. everything here is a must, proper music, low noise level, even if the restaurant was filled. each plate was perfect. restaurant in pasadena
It was really a beautiful evening. Went for my birthday and had a meal. Was not rushed and we were able to relax and enjoy.
Food was not well prepared, fish was undercooked. One salad never made its way to our table
Eddie is amazing as always. Please have more live music nights!
