We have been regular customers at Pars for the last 3 years, ordering take-out regularly, and have never been disappointed. Our favorite dishes include the Hummus, their rice dishes, and especially the lamb dishes, particularly the number 24, Kebab-e Koobineh - grilled mince lamb with saffron rice, grilled tomato, and mixed salad. The portions are so generous that we usually have leftovers for the next day. I also enjoy the meat and vegetarian stew dishes, such as the traditional Iranian dish, 42 Khoresh-e Ghormesh Sabzi with parsley, herbs, spinach, beans, and dried limes. We first experienced Pars food when we were at a dinner at our friends. The food was outstanding and we asked our friends to tell us what restaurant. And that has been how we discovered Pars. Every dish we have had has been traditional Persian cuisine. They have a very special way with rice. Their Hommous is excellent and their Nans are made immediately. We love , lamb grilled dishes like Kabab-e Koobidh at only £7. I like the stews like the Khoresh-e Gheimeh with chicken at only £9. The orders are enormous, we always have enough left over for another meal. the salads are a bit boring better have the lentil soup it is a meal in itself. don't forget the nans..
I had visited this place few years earlier. On my second visit, I have to say, I observed a very poor service. The waiter was not attendant at all. Couldn’t be bothered! To make the matter much worse, he said the bank card machine is broken and refused to take card payments!! I wonder if HMRC and council would like to take the matter into account. The starters were small portions and poor quality. The. Read is very good though; freshly baked.
I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant and got a rice dish with eggplant and tabbouleh. I was disappointed with the quality of the eggplant, as I have had better at other Persian restaurants for a lower price. The total bill came out to £15, which I found to be expensive for what I received. Overall, I was not impressed and am hesitant to give this restaurant my business again. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The waitor refused to serve a young family because their toddler was being a typical toddler and making noise. The young family were then kicked out of their premesis. Possibly the most unkind and inhumane customer service I have ever witnessed. They essentially kicked out a baby. The waitor also did not look remotely apologetic as he saw the family leave. Aboslutely vile.
The food here is amazing, generous portion size, the lamb kebab and chicken were very juicy and the flavour had marinated well into the meats. The price is very good value for what you get. Its a shame that the staff are not more friendly as this would really improve the whole experience but simply on the basis of the food this place gets too marks!
We absolutely adore Pars. Back in the day, we would walk to Pars, but now we get takeout. The portions are huge, one dish is enough for two people. We usually order two dishes and enjoy them over a few days. Their rice dishes are cooked to perfection. The hummus and flatbread are excellent. We also enjoy their minced lamb.
This used to be such a lovely place, I used to eat there every few weeks. That was years ago and after several new owners it is not somewhere I would even think about visiting.
