I'm from Milwaukee and we love our Oakland Gyro, however when I tell you this place blew them out the water. The gyro meat was seasoned and flavorful. We visited on a Saturday night. It was a quick walk from the Comedy club. The free refills were a plus. The fries were hot the entire time I was eating them. They were not over cooked and seasoned just right. Sometimes at gyro places the tiziki sauce is too watery. The consistency and taste of their sauce was spot on. I can't wait to go back to Madison for something I'm stopping here. I recommend 10 out of 10.
First off let me say the place is clean, staff are very nice, but the gyro is just not that great. I got the mega gyro, and the meat portion was alot smaller than I thought, with the rest of the gyro being loaded down with tons of onion and sauce andtomatoes to make it look like a bigger portion. The meat was dry, and thin cut. After picking through and locating the minimalamount of meat, I was left with an onion and sauce pita sandwich.
People are very caring and kind. Went there when touring campus at Madison and my family thought I should stop by and man. Best gyro I’ve ever had. The tomatoes were exceptional and I usually don’t eat them, but this time they got demolished. I took multiple naps upon coming home, and man I still taste the gyro it was so good. I would have gone back and grabbed another when I was there, shoot it’s even worth the drive to go there.
Parthenon is a true local gem with the best gyros in town. Their chicken skewers are equally delicious, and the fries are absolutely to die for. The atmosphere is vibrant and trendy, making it a great spot to hang out. While it can be a bit on the pricier side, the quality and experience make it well worth every penny.

Food was great. When we come from out of town it iss oue got to I will not get them from anywhere else! Fresh always and the service was great and quick. The atmosphere is nice has alot of seating inside and outside. Also they do not except EFT, CARDSNO CASH
There's a reason why this place has been around for so long, one of the best places to eat in downtown Madison. Affordable, delicious, and great service. Always a good choice for either a full Gyro meal or a quick bite with their fries.
The Freaky Gyro Plate was amazing and the portions did not disappoint. Food was fresh, flavorful and filling.
This is a great gyro place with just the right spices and friendly atmosphere.
