Having previously visited the renowned Pastel Rita in Mile End, I was eager to try the newly opened café in the Bash boutique in Westmount, which is conveniently located near me. The design and decor of the café beautifully complemented each other, maintaining the same ambiance as the original location. Although the staff was very friendly, the café was unfortunately closed due to lockdown restrictions when I visited. Despite my disappointment, I am excited to return in 2021 and give them a try.
The service was excellent on this visit, but the grilled cheese sandwich did not resemble the photo I saw posted a few months ago. The sandwich had a lot of bread and butter, with very little cheese. The matcha latte was enjoyable, but the chairs were very uncomfortable.
