The place has two entrances. St Peter 's street and Royal Street. We entered via Royal street, was asked if we wanted food or just drinks. We were there to eat. The server showed us to the vague direction of the 'front ' entrance without telling anyone we were there for food orcreally where to go. There were many empty tables so just sat down. We were ignored for 10 minutes. When we tried to gain anyone 's attention we were rudely told that it wasn 't 'her responsibility to let anyone know we were there. ' A guy behind the bar actually became argumentative. We left and got better service elsewhere. Overhyped and overpriced
We went to the main bar but all of it seemed great. Guy at bar was very nice. I ordered the Hurricane and it's amazing maybe a little too sweet if you don't like that. Bartender gave suggestions to my hubby he got a mint julep it's pretty good. Bartender gave us the bad news the kitchen wasn't open but gave suggestions for the muffaleto and gumbo.
Drinks that will knock you on your butt, but that’s okay because you won’t want to move once you get here. The service was great and the price was very fair for the lovely ambience. Sit in the courtyard and regret nothing, even if it rains. Can’t wait to come back here on my next NOLA trip!
Very old and has a very nostalgic scent when you go thru the entrance. Courtyard is nice and relaxing and since it was super hot day the cold one tasted even better. If it wasn’t hot, I would have gotten Hurricane: Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Original place of dialing pianos and Hurricanes. Great experience so sit back, listen and relax in a great environment with great service.
Vibe was good, drinks were good, atmosphere was on point. However, the rats running free like feral cats was a mood killer.
Always a great time at Pat O’Brien’s. Even in the heat they keep it cool with fans and with their famous Hurricanes
