Sadly I felt I needed to write a review on this restaurant. The first night we visited we could not have wished for a more first class evening. Great food, great waiter, with service being very efficient. Unfortunately the 2nd visit was not so good. The food was nowhere near as good as the first visit, and the service was desperately slow, though some other people were being served much more quickly. It may have been that we were a group of 7, but nonetheless it was a shame we experienced this.
Stopped in Níjar on way back from busy day in Almeria. Discovered this restaurant in a little alley off the Main Street. Very nice inside and a few tables outside. Menu del dia €12.50 salad, bread, drink, first and second plus desert. Not huge choice but fresh and traditional. Starter was octopus stew with a lovely sauce served on some chips. For main we had grilled chicken with chips and peppers, desert was a very good rice pudding. We left feeling very full and satisfied!
We visited pata negra several times during our week stay in almeria. The burgers are delish and the staf despite not having great english really worked hard to help by using Google translate with us to make it easier. Thank you for your hospitality xx

good menu of the day and good tapas. to improve the waiters, although they are friendly their attention to the time of serving leaves much to desire. we do not leave the consumptions nothing based on blows at the table
We ate from the menu and the truth that gave us enough, good service and good price. The only thing I would take care of is the amount of salads, put the same salad on a table of 2 people than on a table of 5 people.
it eats very well and prices are very good, do not miss the fish grill for2 .
