This is one of my favorite places, and I've been coming here regularly for years. I've always loved the quirkiness, funky food and drinks, and ambiance. However, my past few visits have left me cold. I understand that costs are rising and employees are hard to come by, but Patate et Persil can surely do better! The past few visits, the food has been okay; as mentioned in other reviews, the food sometimes arrives cold or burnt (especially the fries). This matters when you're paying more for your food. You expect the quality to be consistent. The service is split down the middle. Some staff do an incredible job while others stand around talking to friends instead of focusing on customers durin...
Excellent food and a wealth of options. Nearly all meals have vegetarian alternatives too! It's tucked away from the bustle of the 20/Harwood but incredibly close to Vaudreuil proper. The atmosphere and decor is lovely and sitting by the water was fantastic. I tried the special, a Portuguese chicken poutine, which was super tasty but too salty for me. (I am kinda sensitive to salty though) The only thing I didn't like was the water they brought to the table. It tasted kind of salty, or just like straight tepid tap water. It was really not enjoyable. If you don't want to buy a drink, bring your own water.
Discreet and unassuming restaurant where originality shines both on the plate and in the decor. Friendly welcome and simple setting like at home. As for the dishes... everything is excellent and it's the best value for money in the west of Montreal. Poutine comes in various flavors and is always served with a unique and healthy touch. Local artists' works complement the eclectic decor with a stunning waterfront view. A restaurant that never disappoints, whether with friends, for a business lunch, or with family.
Beautiful place and very friendly staff! The fries are very good and the sauces are delicious. The outdoor terrace is beautiful by the water. Wow. We just discovered the new location...the place is so beautiful and charming. The terrasse offers such a beautiful view on the lake. The staff is warm and friendly and the food is super good. You can have diner then sit in an armchair and have a cup of hot lemon&ginger tea for free.
we enjoyed the bacon cheese burger. I had gluten-free rolls and no wobble. served by mirka. she was bilingual. from calgary, alberta and my mother preferred to speak English, that was beautiful.
This restaurant is amazing! The cozy wooden decor, waterfront view, delicious burgers, and the highlight - scrumptious gluten-free buns made locally. I absolutely enjoyed my experience here!

Love the veggie burger. The bbq sauce is SO good. Wish there were more vegan options on the menu so I could eat there more often!
