My friend was showing me around the Adelaide Hills and we stopped off in Stirling to have some lunch as my friend has been before. It's a small restaurant with an open kitchen and a huge garden. As it was during the week, it wasn't busy but the dishes were slow to appear. I ate the cider braised pulled pork which was nice with the freshness of the apple slaw. The brioche bun didn't hold together well so I just hustled my cutlery to navigate my meal. I also ordered a granola looking bar which I think was too healthy for me! I did not like it as it had a weird, artificial taste. so I passed it onto my friend, who ate it - but only because he hates waste! He had for his main- the chicken breast...
My family and I have honestly never had a worst experience, service was so terrible we were made to feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived with staff telling us we we had to order now and leave straight away. We order our food I'm told I can't order the big breakfast without tomato so I was charged more money to order it all seperate. Food arrives it was cold wet soggy and bacon still raw. I complained and they stand at the till and continue to laugh at us and give my family and I filthy looks. I payed $211 for the worst dining experience of my life. Absolutely disgusting.
Patch Kitchen and Garden is a really lovely place to visit in Stirling, you can sit inside, or outside in the garden. The owners and staff are really attractive and genuinely want to ensure you enjoy your meal or coffee and cake. I had roasted mushrooms on polenta with truffle parmesan, salsa verde & a green salad, which was simply delicious. My husband opted for the pulled pork burger which he also really enjoyed. Nice wine list & great coffee.
I was so disappointed in the service. Been told I wasn't allow to bring food for my 12mth old son into this cafe as they don't make money by me bring food in for him was down right insulting and unnecessary. You now won't make any money from me as I will not be returning nor would I ever recommend your cafe to anyone else. Please re access your priorities! Had a lovely day, Service excellent, Food Fabulous. Celebrated my birthday on the 15/11/2015. Bottle charge a bit expensive with B.Y.O. at 14:00 Dollars a bottle. I prefer my own types of wine due to Sulphur issues. Could be something they could reduce in price to 10:00 dollars max. Coffee was great, chef extremely friendly and hospitable. Will come again, just drop the B.Y.O. charges a bit. Thank you. Judy.
Had the best breakfast in months - the pork belly eggs. Refreshing menu that offers some unique choices. The coffee was good and service reasonably paced given it was quiet. The service was standoffish and the food is very expensive. Slightly let down by the sweet treats in the cabinet which is a shame given the almost perfect breakfast.
I've been waiting to come here for a while. It was worth the wait. Service was great, food - spectacular. The gentlemen that saw us to the table this morning gave us the the heads up about some big tables about to order. Much appreciated! I will definitely return for the quality and presentation of the food alone.
Lovely spot in Stirling in a previous old home. Friendly staff. Coffee and food were superb. Absolutely class and well done. Only reason not 5 stars is there was a very long wait for coffees and it's very expensive. Would definitely still recommend for brunch. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Patch's food is all round great! They have some great options and quite well priced. The service by staff is exceptional and the whole layout of the cafe is beautiful. I love the outdoor areas. The coffee isn't my favorite but still worth trying out!
