This place is located in from of the central church in Lens. It is known to be in a good location and below one of the oldest fanciest building in town. However, I found the service very average. I would go back and try again. However, when you are only stopping by on your way back (our case Vimy Memorial) sometimes you don't have a chance to give it another try. Lens receives lots of tourist because of Vimy and the local commerce should strive to offer the best of service and products. At the time we were there the coffee shop was about to close and it was about 3pm only.

I ordered the 13 for the 14 already the speed is a very good point) a cake for my mother-in-law's birthday, a strawberry cake for 6 people, I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised! The cake is good, not heavy like industrial cakes full of m*rde, strawberries are good... Anyway it was a treat! I was very welcome by a very nice lady! So I don't understand the comments that criticize this lady, I'm sure if we're gonna be a minister and we're egocentric... It's not helping! Anyway, thank you for that cake! Very soon
The place is very central, in front of the city hall and very affordable. But the quality and the choices of menu and products were not so great, as we arrived at 12:15 and there was already half the menu gone. I didn't like at all the pastries, very sugary and not that tasteful.
When will France finally adapt to modern live and stop closing their bistro's in the afternoon in cities like Lens? If you house a Louvre department, you should do better! This was the only place in town where we could eat a sandwich, but the service and quality was substandard.

Beautiful shop or unfortunately I haven't tasted a pastry shop. On the other hand, I was expecting something else than a hot chocolate ready in a machine... It's really bad! Otherwise, the interior decoration is modern, bright and airy.
