Sarlat’s downtown is not big, so every place has a good location I would say. Anyway the place is located in the old city. It is primarily a patisserie where people come to buy pastries, cakes and other sweets. But offers some tables with service were you can eat and drink something. So we choose some sweets and tea( their teas were very nice) The sweets were super tasty and fresh( not a good place if one is on a diet) The service was not super friendly but still more or less ok. I won’t forget for sure their delicious sweets.
We needed a pot of tea. Maybe it was after all the Foie Gras and duck we had eaten. It seems that every restaurant in Sarlat has the same menu but we had had enough. You can get too much of a good thing. Anyway this was a nice stop, mainly for a rest and we needed a cup of tea. Nice and relaxing but at €6 for a pot, certainly on the steep side. Oh! we also asked for some cold milk and 40c was added to our bill for a dash. Nice but certainly expensive.
Moi quand je vais à Sarlat, je ne manque pas de m'arrêter dans cette fabuleuse pâtisserie à l'heure du petit déjeuner ou du goûter. Accueil et service impeccable. Divers thés délicieux. Les pâtisseries aussi belles que bonnes. Je recommande vivement. Arrêtez vous
Depuis 1989, nous nous régalons des produits sublimes proposés par cette pâtisserie.Grand choix de gâteaux individuels ou non, viennoiseries, confiserie, chocolats, etc. Tous meilleurs les uns que les autres. Vous l'avez compris, je suis une inconditionnelle :-)

accueil sympathique, beaucoup de choix et de qualité ! je me régale à chaque fois. Ils font aussi salon de thé mais je n'ai pas encore testé. Pour Pâques superbe vitrine qui me fait très envie, je vais craquer pour du chocolat
patisserie delicieusesss, chocolat sublime (caramel beurre fleur de sel noir,piment espelette et autre lauze entre autre anti depresseur).acceuil tonic simple et sympa j'aiiiiiime.
Excellentes pâtisseries faites avec des ingrédients parfaits : tarte citron meringuée, tarte aux noix, tarte framboises etc... tout est raffiné...More
Perfect pastry and coffee. This is a very nice place with comfortable relaxed outside seating. This is unlike any other pâtisserie in the area

I thought this little patisserie was called Mertz Roland but either way, I'll never forget the pastry that I got from this place.
